Descripción

The Fixed Income Trader is responsible in assisting the N3 in trading the Credits markets with the objective of generating total income for the Bank (trading gains and accrual).


Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Department Head in trading the Credits markets to generate trading gains and positive interest margins
  • Supports inventory requirements of Corporate and Retail Sales units to enable Global Markets to meet its volume and spread targets
  • Provides market insights and trading recommendations to distribution units
  • Formulates short-term and long-term trading strategies and proposals in the Credits markets which include credit spreads, basis trades, plain and non-plain vanilla bonds
  • Provides market information or data to Sales, Private Banking/IFL, etc. to contribute to the growth of the Bank’s flow income business
  • Ensures that all transactions and processes are compliant with the Bank’s rules and regulations, limits and other audit requirements including external rules and regulations (ex. BSP) to maintain the Bank’s high regulatory compliance rating


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business-related course
  • Master's degree or graduate-level certificate program in one of these disciplines is preferred
  • Must be a Certified Treasury Professional
