Quest Exploration Drilling Philippines Inc., (QED) has active operations in Philippines. With more than 45 years of experience, QED has established itself as an industry leader in providing drilling and support activities to the mining, exploration and petroleum sectors.

We currently have a vacancy in our Operations Department for a DRILL CONTRACT MANAGER. The individual we are looking for to fill this role must have strong experience in drill program management, overseeing the day-to-day contract administration, cost management, governance, and have extensive RC and Diamond Drilling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in Drilling Project/Contract day-to-day management.
• Must have experience with Reverse Circulation Hammer Drilling, and Surface Drilling with deep holes up to 1500 mtrs.
• Experience working and or overseeing geothermal projects.
• Operate an RC drill rig (Schramm KWL or similar type machine).
• Knowledge and skills of drilling depths of up to 300 meters
• UG Diamond drilling experience an advantage.
• Troubleshooting
• Ability to provide supervision and lead a multi-cultural team.
• Ability to coach and mentor the National & Local drillers/Offsiders.
• Daily liaison with Client representatives to achieve an outcome acceptable to all concerned.
• Establish and maintain client relationships.
• Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally where necessary.
• Communicate contract-related information to the Operations Manager and Management team.
• Manage accurate record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
• Ensuring rig/s on project sites are fully conditioned to work and keeping a Rig Maintenance Record.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Drilling Operations
• Project Management Certificate
• Train the Trainor Certificate III or IV
• Current HV and LV Drivers Licenses
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
