About the role



We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our dynamic team at YourMembership Limited Corporation powered by Momentive Software. As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' brand identity and objectives. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for designing website layouts, interfaces, and visual elements that enhance the overall user experience.

This is a full-time position based in Cebu City, Cebu.

Job Summary 

Responsible for developing visually compelling, user-centered websites and digital experiences that attract, engage, and retain visitors. This role blends design creativity with technical proficiency to enhance user interaction, accessibility, and site performance across devices and browsers. The ideal candidate will bring both aesthetic vision and a strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and front-end best practices. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web pages that reflect brand identity and deliver seamless user experiences. 

• Apply principles of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, including human-computer interaction and accessibility standards (WCAG), to create intuitive layouts and clear navigation paths. 

• Collaborate closely with developers, marketers, UX researchers, and content creators to align visual design with business objectives and user needs. 

• Conduct usability testing and leverage analytics to continuously improve design and functionality. 

• Optimize websites for performance, speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness across all modern browsers and devices. 

• Participate in design reviews, team brainstorming sessions, and provide feedback to peers. 

• Stay current with evolving design trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team. 

• Report regularly to the Lead Web Designer and ensure alignment with broader creative and product goals. 

Education & Experience 

• A graduate of any bachelor's degree or equivalent training on Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Multi-media arts or any related fields.

• 2–4 years of proven experience in web design or front-end development with a strong portfolio of work. 

Core Competencies 

• UI/UX Design: Deep understanding of user interface design principles and responsive, user-centered design. 

• Accessibility (WCAG): Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and designing for inclusivity. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams to bring digital experiences to life. 

• Time Management: Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Attention to Detail: Delivers polished, consistent, and error-free design work. 

• Creativity & Problem-Solving: Brings innovative thinking to complex design challenges. 

• Usability Testing: Capable of planning and conducting user testing to inform design decisions. 

Tools & Technologies 

• Design Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 

• Developer Tools: Git/Bitbucket 

• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery 

• SEO: Understanding of SEO best practices and how design decisions impact search performance 

Physical Requirements 

• Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate clearly. 

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to operate tools and equipment, and reach with arms. 

• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

• Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. 

• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
