As Metacom continues to scale, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager/Controller to take charge of our financial operations and play a pivotal role in our growth journey. This is more than just a number-crunching role — we're seeking someone who has worked closely with a CFO and understands the importance of aligning financial planning with company-wide strategy.

You’ll be the financial steward of the company — forecasting, setting performance targets, identifying opportunities to cut costs, and driving data-informed decisions across departments. Your insights will directly impact how we operate, grow, and stay competitive in a fast-moving industry.

• Lead and oversee all finance and payroll functions — including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to the Management and Executive Leadership Teams.
• Partner closely with the executive team and department heads to create and monitor financial plans, ensure cost-efficiency, and establish KPIs aligned with business goals.
• Own the full cycle of financial forecasting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
• Proactively identify areas to reduce costs and improve profitability, without compromising growth.
• Review and manage departmental budgets, accounts receivable/payable, and company performance planning.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reports, and maintain compliance with tax filings and financial audits.
• Optimize finance-related processes, systems, and workflows for scalability and efficiency.
• Guide leadership with financial insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.

• A seasoned finance professional with experience in direct leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven background in supporting or reporting directly to a CFO — you understand the bigger picture.
• Experienced in financial planning, cost-cutting initiatives, forecasting, and budgeting at a strategic level.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and business-minded with excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in implementing systems and controls to ensure operational efficiency and fiscal discipline.
