Descrição:

The Asset Management is responsible for the fair and accurate physical inventory of assets. Ensure all assets are properly tagged and recorded. Maximize use of existing assets before purchase and ensure accountability of custodian for any loss or damage of the company's properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts periodic inventory count of assets and reconcile the same vs records.
  • Accepts and/or coordinate all delivery of items purchase with requestor.
  • Prepares purchase order receiving receipt (PORR) and ensure acknowledgement of recipient.
  • In-charge of timely delivery of items requested in coordination with purchasing department.
  • Ensures complete and timely asset tagging before delivery to respective custodian.
  • Ensures purchase request of asset are verified against physical inventory before purchase.
  • Prepares and submits lapsing schedule to Accounting office on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinates with Facility Head on possible cost recovery (Savage value) of worn-out asset.
  • Ensures acceptance in the accountability form of custodian on the items in their possession.
  • Signs on employee clearance for any accountability and file accordingly.
  • Validates and account all items for disposal/retirement for approval.
  • Accept items from resigned employees for accountability.
  • Surprise audit inventory on hand in all departments as needed.
