Descripción

We seek a skilled and motivated In-House and Field Computer Technician to join our team. This position requires a versatile professional who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer systems in-office and on-site at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


In-House Support:

  • Diagnosed and resolved hardware and software issues for company systems and devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computers, servers, and peripherals.
  • Manage network configurations and ensure system security compliance.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets.


Field Support:

  • Travel to client locations to provide on-site troubleshooting and technical assistance.
  • Install, configure, and repair hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Educate clients on system operations, providing training as needed.
  • Document all work completed and provide detailed service reports to clients.


General Duties:

  • Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requisito

Education: Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a computer technician role or similar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop software, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.


Work Environment:

  • Split between office-based work and travel to client locations.
  • Flexible hours may be required, including occasional evenings and weekends.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.


Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering high-quality service
  • Have a motorcycle and driver's license.
