I. General Ledger Accounting

• Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts using SAP
• Performs month-end and year-end closing processes (FI-GL)
• Posts manual and recurring journal entries with proper documentation
• Ensures accuracy of financial records and compliance with IFRS/GAAP

II. Fixed Assets & Accruals

• Coordinates with FA team on depreciation postings and asset accounting
• Books accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses during period-end
• Prepares required reports for site users

III. Account Reconciliations

• Conducts balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigates and resolves variances promptly

IV. Audit & Compliance

• Supports internal and external audits for assigned sites
• Ensures compliance with SOX controls, corporate policies, and internal procedures

V. Continuous Improvement

• Participates in process standardization and automation efforts
• Identifies ways to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

VI. Local Regulatory Compliance

• Prepares and submits PEZA reporting requirements
• Handles BIR reporting requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the general accounting and financial reporting
• Solid experience acquired in a PEZA manufacturing environment
• Well knowledgeable in BIR and other regulatory compliance.
• Shared service experience is preferred.
