About the role

We are seeking a talented Accounts Payable (AP) / Disbursement Specialist to join the team at Raco Trading Phils., Inc'. This full-time role is located in Makati City, Metro Manila and will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Process invoices and manage the timely payment of accounts payable/ Checks preparation
• Reconcile accounts payable and related general ledger accounts
• Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts payable reports and statements
• Liaise with vendors to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
• Provide support for the month-end close process
• Maintain accurate and organised accounts payable records and documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and controls

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounts payable best practices and generally accepted accounting principles
