Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Ortigas, Metro Manila

Salary: Php 45,000 to Php 65,000 (negotiable depending on experience and expertise)

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Work from Office)

Number of Positions: 1

Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of working experience in a related field (preferably as HR Business Partner with exposure in Employee Relations, Labor, and Engagement experience).

  • Tenure: Ideally 5-8 years specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner serves as the single point of contact for employees in the assigned business unit, building strong business relationships and ensuring effective HR practices. This role is key to fostering employee engagement, driving performance improvement, and addressing HR-related challenges within the business unit.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for employees within the business unit.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and employees.

    • Drive employee participation in engagement initiatives, such as monthly events, competitions, and annual outings.

    • Actively listen to employee concerns, identify gaps, and propose solutions to address risks and challenges.

  • Performance Management & Employee Support:

    • Serve as the performance improvement driver and facilitate positive changes in people management.

    • Track and support employees on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).

    • Identify and address non-performers in collaboration with department leads for action plans.

    • Facilitate monthly confirmation appraisals, annual appraisals, promotions, transfers, and separations.

  • Disciplinary & Grievance Management:

    • Address and resolve disciplinary issues and grievances within the team.

    • Handle and escalate issues as required while ensuring a fair and transparent process.

  • HR Reporting & Administrative Duties:

    • Track and report absconding employees and escalate AWOL/NCNS cases to the HR-MIS team.

    • Share weekly attrition reports with HR-MIS and maintain resignation and serving notice trackers.

    • Administer exit formalities, ensuring the completion of clearance processes and issuing relieving letters for resigned employees.

    • Facilitate the onboarding process and ensure proper documentation for promotions, transfers, and employee separations.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Continuously assess and suggest improvements to HR processes, contributing to a more efficient and effective work environment.

    • Collaborate closely with the business unit to reduce unauthorized absenteeism and improve overall attendance.

  • Confidentiality & Data Integrity:

    • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all employee data and HR-related information.

    • Ensure the availability and accuracy of records for reports, appraisals, and other HR-related functions.

  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Handle ad-hoc tasks and HR-related assignments as directed by management.

    • Provide support in addressing any employee queries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related fields.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, with a focus on Employee Relations, Labor, and Engagement.

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Work Setup:
  • On-Site work at Ortigas, Metro Manila.
