About the Role:

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business by using data to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and IT solutions to business problems. This role engages with business POCs, users, and IT SMEs to identify how data-driven changes to processes, products, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiency and add value. Business Analysts must be able to clearly articulate ideas while balancing technological feasibility and functional reasonability.

• Gather requirements using methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from actual business needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements, delivering artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, GUI, Screen, and Interface designs.
• Work with users to define concepts and challenge business units on their assumptions.
• Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team.
• Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates using natural language.
• Collaborate with developers, IT infrastructure teams, and subject matter experts to align technical vision with usability and performance needs.
• Liaise between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Report security incidents and identified security weaknesses.

• Graduate of BS/BA in Information Technology or other related courses.

Experience Levels:

• Level 1 – At least 1 year in IT Business Analysis.
• Level 2 – At least 2 years in IT Business Analysis.
• Level 3 – At least 4 years in IT Business Analysis.
• Level 4 – At least 6 years in IT Business Analysis.
