• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on project requirements.
• Set up components for welding in accordance with specifications (e.g., cutting materials with powered saws to match measurements).
• Perform welding operations using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding parts and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct flaws.
• Maintain welding equipment in safe and optimal working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and consistent use of protective equipment (face shield, gloves, etc.).
• Attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.
• Professional Certification (e.g., AWS Welding Certificate) is an advantage.
• TESDA NC II Certification in SMAW or completion of related vocational courses is preferred.
