Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to support a short-term project for our consumer electronics retail business. The role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining responsive, high-performing websites while ensuring strong security, usability, and search engine performance. This is a hands-on, project-based role working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive and mobile-friendly websites

Implement API integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms

Optimize website performance, security, and scalability following best practices

Apply technical SEO standards to improve site visibility and search performance

Ensure compliance with web security best practices and data protection standards

Collaborate on UX/UI improvements, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles

Work with content management systems (CMS) such as Magento, WordPress, and Shopify

Support backend development tasks, including database integration and server-side logic

Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure site reliability

Document technical work, configurations, and project deliverables

Qualifications (4-Bullet Summary)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications like FreeCodeCamp, Meta Front-End Developer, or Google UX Design are a plus

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, backend languages, and databases

Strong knowledge of API integration, technical SEO, security best practices, responsive design, UX/UI principles, and CMS platforms (Magento, WordPress, Shopify)

Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and able to work effectively in a project-based onsite environment
