Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate, submit, and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and diagnostic services
2. Utilize eClinicalWorks (ECW) for documentation, appointment management, and updating patient records
3. Conduct high-volume phone communication with patients, providers, and insurance representatives, ensuring clear and professional interactions
4. Perform accurate data entry, including the input and verification of medical codes and related information
5. Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of all activities
6. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards
7. Support administrative and clinical workflows as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience handling prior authorizations (required)
2. Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EHR systems (preferred)
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage phone-based tasks professionally
4. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy, including familiarity with medical codes
5. Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong organizational and time-management capabilities
6. Previous experience in a medical, healthcare, or clinical support role is an advantage
