Creative Kaiju is a design agency startup that provides today's modern clientele with what they need - amazing graphic design, and an unlimited amount of it! We're looking for great talent to join our team.

Your work should be creative, eye-catching, polished and most importantly, communicate what’s required. 

For this reason, we’re looking for people who have excellent English language skills, as well as excellent comprehension skills, an awareness of global business and popular culture, and an eye for what works. 

Basically, you should be great at taking requirements, and translating them into design that people love.

Please note that only video editors with an online portfolio will be considered for this position. Please include that with your application or cover letter.

• Receive design briefs and translate them into great graphic design
• Deliver work very quickly, as we operate on tight timelines 
• Communicate effectively
• Follow company guidelines and processes
• Receive feedback from team leaders, and implement those changes
• Be available to work for the full duration of your shift (for full time work), or be available on short notice (for freelance work)
• Be in constant communication during a shift, and/or be easily reachable (for freelancers)

Pay/Salary

We start designers off on a freelance/part-time basis, paid per hour. From there, the best candidates move forward to a full-time, monthly salary position. Some may be offered part-time salary if preferred.

• Freelance hours are paid at 200 PHP/hour

Payments are made once a month (at the end) direct to your bank account. Candidates doing paid tests may get paid with PayPal.

Timings:

Most of our clients are US-based, so we require you to be available during US eastern time (or pacific time). That would be the night shift, Philippines time (it would be an 8 hour shift somewhere between 9 pm and 9 am Philippines time). 

• Please make sure you’re okay with working the night shift, and can handle this day-to-day, before you apply. 

• Has proven video editing skills
• Has proven animation and video/audio design and editing skills
• Can work on a wide variety of styles and types
• Has a strong portfolio
• Works quickly and efficiently, while maintaining great quality
• Is well-versed in After Effects, Premiere Pro (and/or Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), Photoshop, sound editing software (e.g. Audition, Logic), Cinema 4D experience is preferred
• Has fantastic attention to detail
• Can handle criticism and work with it as feedback
• Works as a team
• Stays up-to-date with new design techniques and software
• Enjoys looking up and learning new things quickly
• Has a friendly and positive attitude

Candidates with additional skillsets like podcast editing etc. may be preferred.

This is a remote/work from home position. This means you’ll need:

• To be available to work for the full duration of your shift 
• A reliable computer with Adobe CC suite installed
• A computer that’s powerful enough to do the jobs required
• A fast internet connection, backup internet if required in your area, data plan on your mobile phone if needed
• Have a working webcam for meetings
