• Conduct thorough physical exams and administer initial care to animals.
• Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Offer expert consultations to pet owners, including diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation plans, and preventive care advice.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments for injuries, illnesses, and surgical recovery.
• Perform diagnostic tests and lab procedures independently or with guidance.
• Support veterinary surgeons during operations and handle all phases of patient care—before, during, and after confinement.
• Perform surgeries when assigned, under the supervision and approval of a Senior Veterinarian or Partner.
• Manage hospitalized animals by tracking medication, monitoring progress, and ensuring proper post-surgical care.
• Follow up with pet owners to assess recovery and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with senior vets daily to review cases and update pet owners on treatment plans and progress.
• Develop and manage annual care schedules, including vaccinations and routine checkups.
• Notify clients in advance of scheduled treatments or upcoming procedures.
• Safely restrain animals when necessary, with or without technician support.
• Perform additional clinical duties as required by hospital procedures.

Requirements

• Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam).
• Experience with animals and clinical settings is beneficial but not required.
