POSITION TITLE: Treasury Head 

WORK LOCATION: Ortigas, Pasig (On-site) 

SALARY RANGE: PHP 100,000 – 120,000 per month

REPORTING TO: Finance Head

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Treasury Head will lead the treasury function, providing strategic support for corporate and project financing, liquidity management, and financial risk mitigation. This role is highly specialized, requiring extensive experience in project finance, loan origination, and oversight of complex financial instruments, ideally within the energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Loan Origination & Capital Structuring:

Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of corporate and project-level financing, including term loans, revolving credit lines, and syndicated debt.

Develop funding strategies aligned with long-term capital requirements for major energy projects.

Manage lender relationships, covenant compliance, and reporting requirements across multiple facilities.

2. Project Finance Execution:

Support financial modeling, due diligence, and financial close for utility-scale and distributed energy projects (renewables, transmission, IPPs, etc.).

Engage with development, legal, technical, and ESG teams to support end-to-end deal execution.

Prepare investor presentations, term sheets, and coordinate with external advisors.

3. Cash & Liquidity Management:

Maintain visibility over daily cash positions, liquidity forecasts, and cash flow planning across the group and its SPVs/JVs.

Optimize intercompany lending structures, cash pooling arrangements, and working capital efficiency.

Lead the implementation and use of treasury systems for centralized oversight.

4. Oversight of Treasury Products & Risk:

Manage issuance and renewal of Letters of Credit (LCs), performance guarantees, bid bonds, and standby LCs.

Identify and monitor FX exposures related to multi-currency contracts, debt service, and capital inflows.

Develop hedging strategies and execute transactions in line with treasury policies.

5. Treasury Governance & Controls:

Develop and enforce comprehensive treasury policies, cash governance frameworks, and risk controls across all business units and project entities.

Oversee bank account management, signatory rights, and treasury audit compliance.

Lead treasury reporting (cash dashboards, covenant tracking, FX exposures, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).

Certifications: Treasury or finance certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA, ACT) are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, investment banking, or project finance.

Industry Focus: Experience ideally within the energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.

Expertise: Proven experience with loan documentation, LC issuance, project finance modeling, and treasury product oversight.

Technical Skills: Strong command of treasury systems, cash flow modeling tools, and financial platforms.
