Core responsibilities

• Outbound and inbound calling: Contacting potential customers to pitch products and services, or answering calls from customers responding to marketing campaigns. 
• Sales generation: Persuading customers to buy products or services, and guiding prospects through the sales process. 
• Lead management: Generating new leads, qualifying them, and sometimes handing off hot leads to a field sales team. 
• Customer engagement: Building rapport with customers by understanding their needs and providing information and support. 
• Product knowledge: Staying up-to-date on product features and benefits to answer questions and make recommendations. 
• Record keeping: Maintaining accurate customer information and sales activity logs in a database or CRM system. 
• Achieving targets: Meeting or exceeding daily, monthly, or quarterly sales quotas.
