Job Description:
- Business users trust ERP and CRM systems as reliable tools that support daily operations.
- System workflows and configurations accurately reflect business processes with minimal workarounds.
- Data within ERP and CRM platforms is accurate, consistent, and usable for reporting and decision-making.
- System changes are delivered in a controlled, well-tested, and well-documented manner.
- ERP and CRM issues are triaged, resolved, and communicated effectively with minimal disruption to business operations.
- System configurations, customizations, and workflows are clearly documented and kept current, enabling continuity, transparency, and long-term scalability as the IT department evolves.
Key Responsibilities
The Systems Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for ERP and CRM system issues, requests, and enhancements, owning troubleshooting and resolution for these platforms end to end.
ERP & CRM Administration, Support, and Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary administrator and support owner for ERP and CRM platforms, ensuring stability, usability, and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate directly with business users, process owners, and department leaders to understand requirements, operational pain points, and system issues.
- Advise stakeholders on system capabilities, configuration options, and practical trade-offs.
- Translate business requirements and support issues into effective, maintainable system configurations, workflows, and fixes.
- Support connected or subsidiary business applications that integrate with or depend on ERP and CRM platforms.
Salesforce Administration and Support
- Administer Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, and data access.
- Configure page layouts, record types, validation rules, approval processes, and Flow-based automations.
- Support the testing, deployment, and refinement of Salesforce enhancements.
- Partner with Sales and related teams to improve data quality, pipeline visibility, process consistency, and issue resolution.
ERP Administration and Support (Infor Syteline / CloudSuite Industrial)
- Configure and maintain ERP forms, screens, workflows, business rules, and security roles.
- Own day-to-day ERP operations, including troubleshooting functional, configuration, and data-related issues.
- Coordinate testing and validation for ERP patches, updates, and vendor-driven changes, including issue remediation.
- Manage ERP user access and permissions in alignment with internal controls.
Data Management and System Integrity
- Perform and support data imports, exports, updates, and cleanup activities.
- Monitor and improve data accuracy, consistency, and governance across ERP and CRM systems.
- Support reporting and downstream processes by maintaining reliable system data.
- Maintain clear, current documentation of system configurations, customizations, workflows, and data processes, ensuring changes are traceable and understandable to future administrators.
- Document the rationale and business context for significant system changes to support continuity and auditability.
Support and Issue Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP- and CRM-related incidents, questions, and system issues.
- Troubleshoot application, configuration, workflow, and data issues within ERP and CRM platforms.
- Determine root cause and resolution paths, resolving issues directly when possible.
- Escalate defects, complex issues, or product limitations to software vendors as needed, including preparing support cases and coordinating testing of vendor fixes.
- Communicate clearly with business users regarding issue status, resolution timelines, and workarounds.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend systemic improvements to reduce future incidents.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with the helpdesk and IT team on ERP/CRM-related tickets and user support.
- Collaborate with automation, integration, or development resources on more complex enhancements or issues.

Required Experience and Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- 3–5 years of experience administering ERP and/or CRM systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and configuration.
- Experience configuring workflows, screens, forms, or business rules in ERP or comparable enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business users and process owners.
- Experience managing data within enterprise applications, including imports, cleanup, and validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infor Syteline / CloudSuite Industrial or similar ERP platforms.
- Light scripting or automation experience related to business systems.
- Exposure to API-based integrations or middleware tools.
- Experience supporting multiple interconnected business applications.
