1.     Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the store to include: staffing levels, sales quota, budgets financial goals.

2.     Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.

3.     Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operations problems.

4.     Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation. Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.

5.     Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.

6.     Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.

7.     Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.

8.     Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

9.     Creative problem solving in a way that improves store service efficiency and productivity.

10.  Determine price schedules and discount rates. Maintaining a high standard of merchandising.

11.  Formulate pricing policies for merchandise, according to profitability requirements.

12.  Review operational records such as inventory and sales reports to project sales and determine profitability and to prepare reports for management.

13.  Performs other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of any 4 year course related to business or services
  • With at least 2 years experience in managerial capacity preferably in retail industry such as fashion or merchandising company
  • Preferably with POS knowledge
  • Preferably with experience in actual store management &/or product management &/or merchandising
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and PR skills
  • Flexible; results-oriented and excellent in customer service
  • With good command of oral and written communication
  • Applicants who worked at Adidas, Nike, Fila, etc. is an advantage
