Descripción

  • Take customers’ orders
  • Clean, unwrap, slice and trim foodstuffs by means of manual and electric appliances
  • Prepare food for instance sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, milkshakes and ice cream dishes
  • Ensure tables are correctly set, side stations are tidy, and side work is appropriately completed
  • Reset tables with flatware and napkins
  • Assist with early guest complaints and notify manager on duty immediately
  • Provide timely, pleasant, and polite food and beverage service to guests
  • Thank guests for dining at the eating place
  • Maintain sanitation of the restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
  • Maintain awareness with menu items and specials
  • Keep cashier station clean and in order.
  • Secure coins and change fund from cash custodian;
  • Receive and posts payments in the cash register.
  • Turns over change to customers
  • Records those on reservation or given stub for meal privilege
  • Prepares and submits the required cashiers report at the end of the shift
  • Conduct opening and closing inventory of dining stocks
  • Assists the counter crew in setting up and in preparing the counter for service prepare napkins, dish tags;
  • Performs other duties as maybe assigned by superior.
  • Assists in food preparation, vegetable and fruit washing and cutting, meat, fish and poultry preparation and storage in accordance with operational procedures and methods.
  • Packs cooked food items properly using the prescribed method by the company and properly labels and dispatches food items for outlets.
  • Prepares utensils, ingredients and materials for cook’s use.
  • Undertake various tasks as defined in the cleaning schedule, ensuring correct methods and processes are used.
  • Assembles trays, food pans and carriers.
  • Removal of refuse and waste food products from the kitchen. Cleaning of receptacles, wash up areas, fridges, sinks, grease trap, kitchen equipment and storerooms on a regular basis.
  • Stores goods correctly using stock rotation and maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic galley area.
  • Assists the cooks in regular stock takes.
  • Performs other job-related duties that may be necessarily assigned.

Requisito

  • With or Without experience
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule
  • Can work under pressure
