Job Summary:

The Sales Specialist is responsible for generating sales, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting the company’s products or services. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs, the ability to effectively communicate the value of products or services, and the capacity to meet or exceed sales targets. The Sales Specialist will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, manage client accounts, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation and Client Acquisition:

  1. Prospecting:
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Cold-call prospective clients and follow up on inbound leads.
  • Schedule meetings with potential clients and conduct product presentations to introduce the company’s offerings.
  1. Sales Presentations:
  • Present products or services to clients, highlighting the features and benefits tailored to their specific needs.
  • Demonstrate how the company’s offerings can solve client problems or enhance their business operations.
  1. Sales Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals successfully.
  • Work to meet or exceed sales targets by developing effective sales strategies and engaging clients in meaningful discussions.
  1. Lead Management:
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients and deals in the sales CRM system.
  • Follow up with potential clients regularly to nurture relationships and convert leads into customers.


Client Relationship Management:

  1. Account Management:
  • Manage existing client accounts and build long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  1. Customer Support:
  • Provide post-sale support by assisting clients with their orders, product/service delivery, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and share insights with the sales and product development teams to enhance offerings.


Sales Performance and Reporting:

  1. Meeting Sales Targets:
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing sales activities and client relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals and optimize performance.
  1. Weekly and Monthly Reporting:
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports that detail progress toward targets, key accomplishments, and any challenges encountered.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance, client interactions, and opportunities for future business.


Sales Operations and Monitoring:

  1. Sales Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track and report on sales performance, including the number of sales closed, revenue generated, and target achievements.
  • Regularly update the sales manager on progress toward sales goals and report any challenges faced during the sales process.
  1. Sales Itinerary and Reporting:
  • Maintain and manually update the internal Sales Field Itinerary Report.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all client visits, business development activities, and sales leads.


Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services to effectively position and sell to potential clients.
  • Continuously learn about product updates, features, and industry changes to stay relevant in the market.
