JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

 

A. Minimum Educational Qualification

  • At least a graduate of any four-year course, preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration major in Marketing and/or other related field

B. Experience

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for generating and qualifying leads, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the sales team in achieving volume & revenue targets.
  • Focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and executing sales strategies to grow the company's customer base.
  • Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying with, and enforcing the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.
  • Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policy, report any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace and ensures safety practices is adhered.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline database with accurate prospect information.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the sales team.


Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries and follow-ups.


Sales Execution

  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Support in negotiating terms and closing deals in coordination with the Sales Manager.


Market Research & Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing team for continuous improvement.


Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports. Track performance against sales targets and KPls.
