We are looking for SAFETY OFFICER III

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four year course with preference for Engineering or  other courses
• Have completed mandatory 40hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training (BOSH) at a DOLE-accredited training facility
• Have completed additional 48 hours of advanced specialized occupational safety and health training at a DOLE accredited training facility (E.g., Loss Control Management, Safety Audit, OSH Programming, etc.)
• Preferably an accredited Safety Practitioner (Safety Officer III)  
• Must have a Driver’s License
• Knowledgeable in government labor and OSH laws and reportorial requirements
• Proficient in both written and spoken communication skills (English and Filipino)
• Has at least 3 years experience in occupational health and safety program implementation in the food/manufacturing/retail industry
• Strong experience in planning, implementing and managing OSH programs, policies and procedures
• Can work with minimal supervision and able to handle multiple tasks
• Organized, systematic and orderly
• Displays strong work value, both professional and ethical

Key Responsibilities

OSH Program Management: Oversees the entire OSH program, ensuring its updates, compliance, and improvement. 

Risk Assessment: Conducts Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) and other job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate risks.

Policy and Procedure Development: Develops and implements safety policies and programs to ensure a safe working environment. 

Compliance: Ensures strict adherence to national and local safety laws and regulations, including Department Orders and other OSH standards. 

Training and Orientation: Creates and delivers safety training programs, conducts safety orientations, and leads toolbox meetings for workers. 

Incident Investigation: Investigates accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices, gathering data and recommending corrective actions. 

Inspections and Audits: Performs regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices, and assists with internal and external safety audits. 

Record Keeping: Maintains safety records, accident reports, inspection logs, and submits required documentation to management and government agencies. 

Emergency Preparedness: Coordinates emergency preparedness and response activities within the workplace
