The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and fostering customer loyalty by understanding customer needs and promoting natural and organic products. This role encompasses a variety of retail operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and cashiering, providing exposure to all facets of store management for potential career advancement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, initiating interactions with professionalism and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Understand customers' health conditions, lifestyles, and requirements to provide relevant product information and benefits, focusing on natural and organic solutions.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets through various efforts, including upselling, cross-selling, and actively promoting products and membership program.
  • Implement sales strategies and marketing efforts effectively; recommend improvements to the Store Executive.
  • Manage sales transactions efficiently, strictly adhering to cashiering and Point-of-Sale (POS) standards.
  • Continuously learn about products by reading available materials, attending training sessions, completing examinations, and engaging in knowledge-sharing with colleagues. Provide product expertise in at least one category.
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked and merchandising standards are maintained; perform product facing and update shelf-tags.
  • Monitor inventory for shrinkage and expiry dates; pull out nearly expiring products from shelves.
  • Accurately receive and check product deliveries, ensuring documentation reconciles with actual products.
  • Observe all work standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health and safety protocols, maintaining the premium appearance of the store.
  • Be aware of shoplifters and immediately report any irregularities to the Store Executive or security personnel.
  • Perform other operational and administrative tasks as assigned by the Store Executive.
  • Participate actively in all store improvement and engagement programs and initiatives.

  • Detail-oriented, focused, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging customers respectfully and tactfully.
  • Patient, persistent, and capable of influencing customer purchasing decisions positively.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
  • Proficient in handling sales processes, cashiering, and POS systems.
  • Basic knowledge of health, wellness, and natural/organic products, or a strong willingness to learn.
