Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse / Construction Site Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

Emergency Medical Response

• Provide first aid and initial treatment for injuries (e.g., falls, cuts, burns, machinery-related accidents) and illnesses on-site
• Arrange emergency transportation to hospitals for severe cases and coordinate with medical facilities

Health Assessments & Monitoring

• Conduct pre-employment and periodic health screenings (e.g., physical exams, drug tests, vision/hearing tests) for workers
• Monitor workers exposed to hazards like dust, noise, chemicals, or extreme temperatures, and track their health status

Safety Compliance & Training

• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) laws, company policies, and construction industry standards
• Conduct safety training sessions on first aid, hazard prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and hygiene

Clinic Management

• Maintain a well-stocked on-site clinic with medical supplies, medications, and emergency equipment
• Keep accurate medical records of all workers, including incident reports and treatment histories

Health Promotion

• Implement health programs (e.g., wellness campaigns, mental health support, disease prevention) to improve workers' overall health
• Advise management on workplace modifications to reduce health risks and improve working conditions

Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with site supervisors, safety officers, and management to address health and safety concerns promptly
• Communicate with workers' families or next of kin in case of serious incidents

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); valid professional nursing license
• Experience: Previous experience in occupational health, emergency care, or construction site nursing is preferred
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and First Aid certification required; additional certifications in occupational health nursing are a plus
• Skills: Strong emergency response skills, knowledge of OHS regulations, attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work in outdoor/physically demanding conditions
