• Perform adequate and timely inspection and testing activities during all stages of production (incoming, in-process, finished product, and storage), including:
• Sensory evaluation.
• Microbiological analyses (Aerobic Plate Count, Yeast and Mold Count, Coliform Count), including preparation and sterilization of culture media and glassware.
• Physico-chemical analyses.
• Swab tests of equipment and personnel.
• Monitor compliance of plant processes and practices against established standards and guidelines, recommending corrective actions for areas that need improvement.
• Conduct monthly cGMP audits.
• Assist and monitor weekly pest control activities.
• Provide support for plant-initiated trials related to cost improvements, use of alternative materials, shelf-life studies, and equipment commissioning.
• Validate complaint products and trade returns by evaluating samples and reviewing quality records.
• Monitor completeness, storage, safety, and easy retrieval of retention samples.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for finished goods prior to delivery.
• Perform weekly verification of weighing scales.
• Monitor and update the Equipment Calibration Plan.

Education

• College graduate of Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or other science-related courses.

Experience

• At least 1 year of work experience in laboratory settings or quality assurance functions.
