Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA ENGINEER - AUTOMATION to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, a passion for test automation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our products by developing and maintaining robust automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
• Perform AUTOMATION TESTING to identify defects, ensure product quality, and meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, etc.) to fully understand requirements and provide actionable feedback on functionality, design, and user experience.
• Identify, document, and track defects/issues using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure the stability, reliability, and usability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the testability of the code, as well as overall quality standards.
• Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the QA industry, ensuring the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
• Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management, contributing to team success and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software quality assurance practices and methodologies.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in TEST AUTOMATION TOOLS such as Selenium( Web Driver, Grid) Cypress/ Playwright.
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work full onsite at BGC, Taguig.
• A passion for delivering high-quality software and improving testing processes.
