• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor/College Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or any related field
• 1-year experience preferably from the same industry
• With previous experience in Purchasing Management & procurement system, requisition & purchasing, correspondence preparation, canvassing, analytical thinking, and strong negotiating skills & computer software applications
• Must have above-average communication skills, a persuading personality, be flexible, and a “can-do” attitude
• 1 full-time position available
• Can start immediately
• Willing to work at Intramuros, Manila

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select/source suppliers; and canvass items per the requisition slip assigned
• Match prices of canvass items to Material Price Control
• Coordinates with supplier’s availability, production, and delivery lead time
• Determines best prices with suppliers and accomplishes canvass sheets
• Request and coordinate processing requirements of new suppliers
• Forwards canvass sheet to Heads for checking and negotiations
• Prepares and forwards PO to Purchasing Supervisor for awarding
• Coordinates and monitor delivery position and details with suppliers as specified in the PO
• Coordinates SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS with suppliers, end-users, and assigned project engineers
• Perform inspection of goods at supplier’s factory or loading port whenever necessary
• Prepares reports as may be required by superiors
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the Superior or the President
