Descripción

The Procurement Support Officer is responsible for verifying the crew and aviation charges. 


She/he also ensures the accuracy of billing details against Jetstar records, prior to sending for Jetstar management’s approval. 


The Procurement Support Officer is the liaison between the vendors and Jetstar for invoices, contracts and vendor related issues. She/he also supports JQ Ops Improvement and Procurement for ad hoc requests. 


• Reviews aviation and crewing related invoices and verifies for appropriate documentation and charging.

• Verifies duty travel invoices as needed.

• Corrects discrepancies and variances in reference to actual usage.

• Requests and manages invoice re-issuance or credit notes if required.

• Allocates costs to respective port and department cost centres.

• Liaises directly with suppliers on invoice and contract related issues.

• Coordinates and directs all concerns and issues to JQ Business Improvement and Procurement Manager or Aviation Charges Analyst 

• Responds to all vendor queries.

• Supports the Jetstar Ops Improvement& Procurement team with other duties and requests that are required from time to time

(Technical, specific or unique to the job)

  • Knowledge with MS Excel application is preferred
  • At least a bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce/Aviation or other related fields preferred but not required
  • Experience working with Audit firms, Airline Companies either Domestic or International, but not limited to: Flight Operations, Travel Agency, Airport ground Operations, Sales and Marketing, Reservations is an edge but not a requirement
  • Experience with the Audit, Procurement, Travel and Logistics Industry is also preferred
  • Experience in Crew Management System is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Airline Business is preferred but not required


Other considerations

• Excellent time management skills;

• Excellent written and oral English communication skills;

• Must be eligible to live and work in the Philippines;

• Willing to be based in Metro Manila or other locations as may be required by business operations;

• Willing to travel due to business / training requirements
