Cornerstone Information Technology (CIT) is seeking a PHP Developer (Intermediate to Senior Level) with full-stack engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate will specialize in PHP development while being proficient across the full-stack — from frontend integration to backend systems, API development, and cloud deployment.

You will work closely with global teams across North America, Europe, and APAC, building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar frameworks).
• Integrate backend services with React.js or Vue.js frontends.
• Design and manage RESTful APIs and database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firestore).
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications.
• Utilize Git, CI/CD, and Docker for development and deployment.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the Agile lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and mentoring of junior developers.
• Implement compliance and security standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, vocational course, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in PHP and full-stack web development.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and MySQL.
• Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of REST API design, JSON integrations, and frontend-backend coordination.
• Familiar with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Firebase).
• Solid foundation in Agile methodologies, SDLC, and teamwork in remote environments.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
