- Inventory Management:
- Monitoring and tracking inventory levels.
- Ensuring accuracy of inventory records.
- Implementing and monitoring inventory control systems.
- Coordinating with suppliers for restocking.
- Analyzing inventory data and making recommendations for improvements.
- Logistics and Supply Chain:
- Creating purchase orders.
- Coordinating deliveries.
- Ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Understanding warehouse logistics.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Problem Solving and Accuracy:
- Identifying potential shortages.
- Resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining stock without variance.
- Conducting physical inventory counts.
- Other Duties:
- Training staff on inventory procedures.
- Assisting with inventory audits.
- Developing inventory management policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or similar preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as NetSuite, Fishbowl, and Zoho Inventory.
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
