PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Technical Consulting Services (architecture & design)

  • a. Providing subject matter expertise in the form of non-functional requirements to projects and strategic Active. Directory initiatives covering the application & infrastructure of domain controllers.
  • b. Attending to ongoing compliance requirements - advise on Active Directory Infrastructure related security fixes, identification and treatment of platform risks, etc
  • c. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of Domain Controllers
  • d. Able to design and influence Architect team on active directory on-prem and cloud platform including all operational activities necessary for a forest and/or organization.
  • e. Good knowledge on solutions like Group Policies and procedures for domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, LDAP and various monitoring tools.
  • f. In depth experience on deploying Domain Controllers transfer of Forests and/or movement of Domain controllers between different sites/locations.
  • g. Implemented and knowledge on GMSA (Group Managed Service Account)
  • h. Configure Group policy objects in AD DS, scoping and processing
  • i. Management of security and delegate permission in AD DS including domain password policies.
  • j. Knowledgeable on the implementation and maintenance of Semperis.

2. Functional/Operational Enhancement

  • a. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time and operational consistency
  • b. Contribute to continuous-improvement cycle for all functional/operational matters relating to all Windows & AD platforms
  • c. Process automation
  • d. ITIL disciplines
  • e. Technical & process solutions for complex operational scenarios
  • f. Working closely with partner teams (Systems, Network and Security) to deliver best-of-breed customer service outcomes.

3. Support

  • a. Senior escalation point for all Active Directory-related technical matters globally across ESSILORLUXOTTICA
  • b. Lead all the problem records of AD Platforms and own them till resolution
  • c. Provide Life Cycle Management Strategy
  • d. Prepare Baseline Matrix ( Firmware & Device Drivers )
  • e. Initiate Service Improvement programs

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate to the search and qualification of related solutions such as monitoring/management/administration tools

2. Provide monthly reports on activity, quality and performance of these System Infrastructures.

3. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for the Operations departments

Requisito

1. 10 years experience in infrastructure, 5+ years of experience in Active Directory, layer 2/3 networking, and storage analysis and troubleshooting

2. Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession

3. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.

4. Customer service oriented

5. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory

6. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints

7. Willing to do some traveling

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES (Must Have)

1. Deep technical subject matter expertise and practical experience in the following Windows technologies:

  • a.Minimum MCSE qualified (win2012 server)
  • b.AD2012/2016 with experience in design and implementation of complex architecture
  • c.Domain Services management
  • d.Azure active directory (MS Entra ID) and ADFS concepts (including Exchange admin authentication)

2. Expertise on Azure / Entra environment

3. Experience in Domain Controller creation, movement and migration

4. Experience in migration of AD systems

5. Experience in custom security attributes extension and manipulation

6. Experience in multi-lingual and multi-national service provider company is preferred

7. Experience as a senior support resource in a large enterprise environment


SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES (Must Have)

1. Knowledge on Semperis and back-up setup for Active Directory and Domain Controllers

2. Good knowledge on virtualization technologies like VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V

3. Knowledge in Network configuration with Nexus switches

4. Experience with complex software packaging, delivery and maintenance

5. Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure AD

6. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.

7. Experience with Docker

8. Experience with DevOps environment

9. Knowledge in ITIL framework

● Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID & Active Directory

● VMWare (Enterprise and EnterprisePlus)

● Nutanix NOS

● Hardware: Dell servers XC720, XC730, R7xx

● OS: W2K3 to W2K12R2 - Linux RHEL 5.x/6.x/7.x

● Ticketing et CMDB CA Service Desk Manager
