The Medical Device Sales is responsible for promoting, demonstrating, and selling medical devices—specifically airway management products, infusion pumps, and pain management systems—to distributors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals. The role ensures strong client relationships, achievement of sales targets, and proper product education and after-sales support in compliance with company and DOH/FDA regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.     Sales and Business Development

•        Promote and sell medical devices such as: Airway Management products (e.g., Endotracheal Tubes, Laryngoscopes, Anesthesia Masks), Infusion Pumps and related products (e.g., CBI/PCA Pumps, Electronic Infusion Pumps), and Pain Management devices (e.g., Anesthesia Kits, Epidural Catheters, Nerve Block Needles)

•        Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, anesthesiologists, nurses, biomedical engineers, and purchasing officers.

•        Identify new business opportunities, accounts, and tenders in both private and government hospitals.

•        Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

 

2.     Product Presentation and Technical Support

•        Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for hospital staff and end-users.

•        Provide accurate product information, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

 

3.     Account and Territory Management

•        Maintain an updated customer database and visit plan within assigned territory.

•        Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitor updates.

•        Coordinate with suppliers/logistics to ensure smooth order and delivery flow.

 

Qualifications:

•        Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Biology, Marketing, or any related medical or business course.

•        With 3 or more years of experience, strong customer relationship in both distributors and hospitals

•        Experience dealing with operating rooms, anesthesiology, or ICU departments is an advantage.

•        Strong sales and negotiation skills.

•        Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

•        Basic understanding of hospital purchasing processes and bidding systems.

•        High sense of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.

•        Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

•        Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively.
