3. STE (Supervising Technical Engineer)

Requirements:

Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Minimum 5 - 10 years experience

Strong background in project supervision and management

Ability to lead teams and ensure compliance with standards

Responsibilities

A Site Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing mechanical works at the job site, ensuring that installations such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems follow approved plans, standards, and safety requirements. The role includes coordinating with contractors, monitoring daily progress, managing materials and manpower, and preparing essential site documentation. The engineer also conducts inspections, resolves technical issues, supports testing and commissioning, and ensures compliance with quality and safety protocols throughout the project.

Job Requirements

Licensed Mechanical Engineer (Mandatory)

With experience in site mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical installations)

Strong understanding of mechanical plans, specifications, and technical drawings

Experience in supervising manpower and coordinating with subcontractors

Knowledgeable in quality inspection, site documentation, and project reporting

Familiar with safety standards and on-site safety practices

Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills

Preferably with experience in construction or industrial projects
