Taiheiyo Cement Philippines, Inc. (TCPI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Taiheiyo Cement Corporation (TCC) of Japan.

It manufactures and markets high-quality cement products compliant with international standards, contributing to the growth and development of the construction industry in the Philippines and the Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform field activities such as inspections and monitoring of implemented projects/maintenance activities
2. Develop short-term and long-term purchase plans for equipment, spare parts, and repair/maintenance services
3. Manage and supervise subcontractors regarding maintenance works at the Distribution Terminal (DT)
4. Perform and verify maintenance records, including daily and periodical checklists, incident reports, etc.
5. Manage and maintain all equipment at the DT, including spare parts
6. Coordinate/assist in the implementation of projects

• Prepare project estimate/materials/quantity
• Prepare turnover documents

1. Conduct regular inspections and prepare maintenance findings
2. Handle incoming and outgoing communications for the department
3. Collate data and prepare technical reports
4. Prepare employee shift schedule for the department
5. Prepare requisitions of office supplies and control their distribution/usage
6. Prepare/update quality records and filing
7. Encode purchase requisitions for the department
8. Inventory and control all tools assigned to the department
9. Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers regarding specifications of requested/ordered materials
10. Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and arrangement of the office
11. Manage department’s critical files and remnants of activities effectively
12. Proper record keeping/disposal of KY records and prepare KY activity if necessary
13. Follow company’s Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, IMS Policy, and other company policies
14. Adhere to company rules and regulations and ensure personal safety in performing job duties
15. Perform other functions as instructed by the superior

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and facilities in heavy industrial plants
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer / CPM
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings; basic design and modification using AutoCAD is an advantage
• Good technical communication skills, both oral and written, particularly in preparing maintenance reports and explaining findings
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare reports and maintenance schedules
• Can facilitate/coordinate with other working groups and subcontractors
