Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Government Agencies for permits and compliance.
• Design or evaluate turbine, pump-turbine, and other hydro-mechanical equipment (valves, gates, penstocks).
• Review supplier proposals, specifications, and installation plans.
• Supervise fabrication, transportation, and site assembly of turbines, valves, pipes.
• Inspect hydro-mechanical systems (inlet valves, draft tubes, surge shafts).
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards (e.g., IEC 60193, 60308).
• Develop and check O&M procedures for moving parts and auxiliaries (e.g., oil systems, air compressors).

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• At Least 5 years of work experience with the Project Development of Renewable Energy Projects.
• Experience in turbine-generator interfacing and pressure component design
• Working knowledge and understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in technical writing for internal and external reporting.
• Familiarity with FEA tools and technical standards for pressure vessels, welding (ASME, ISO).
• Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and problems.
• Ability to assess fatigue, cavitation, and flow-induced vibration impacts.
