- Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment like knives, pans, and food scales
- Ensure ingredients and the final products are fresh
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients, cooking food in a timely manner
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Inform staff about daily specials
- Ensure the appealing plate presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers, coaching Kitchen Helpers for optimum output of tasks
- Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by the Management
