Line Cook

Position Summary

Prepares and cooks food items according to standard recipes, quality standards, and timelines in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Works as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain food safety, and deliver satisfying dishes to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (chop vegetables, portion meats, measure spices) for daily service.
• Cook menu items (grilling, frying, sautéing, baking) as assigned by the head chef or sous chef.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station (including equipment, utensils, and surfaces) in compliance with health codes.
• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies properly.
• Communicate with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Monitor food stock levels and inform supervisors of low supplies.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual with excellent time management skills.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must be below 35 years old
• Living around Pasay or Paranaque
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

Commercial kitchen setting with exposure to heat, noise, and sharp tools. Requires standing for extended periods and working in close quarters with other staff.
