- Extensive knowledge of sushi and teppanyaki preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure food quality and safety standards.
- Design seasonal menus and develop new recipes.
- Source and select high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Train kitchen staff in Japanese cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with management on inventory and supplies.
Requisito
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef and Teppanyaki Chef in a reputable hotel/resort.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience in Japanese cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of sushi and teppanyaki preparation techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity in developing new dishes and presentations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
