Position Overview:

The Integration Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions that enable seamless communication and data flow across various systems and platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and emerging technologies to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Strategy Development:
• Design and implement integration architectures that align with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Develop and maintain integration standards, guidelines, and best practises to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• System Integration:
• Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for integration and optimisation.
• Lead the development and deployment of integration solutions, including APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to deliver integration projects.
• Technology Evaluation and Implementation:
• Evaluate emerging integration technologies and tools to recommend and implement the most suitable solutions.
• Ensure the integration architecture supports scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Performance Optimisation and Troubleshooting:
• Monitor and optimise integration performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and technical specifications.
• Provide training and support to development teams and end-users on integration processes and tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Integration Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of integration platforms, middleware technologies, and API management tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP Integration Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud and Google Cloud) and cloud-based integration services.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in relevant technologies or frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Azure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with micro-services architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of API’s, system integration, data integration, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
