Responsible for timely and smooth releasing of imported goods from Bureau of Customs up to delivery of goods at site / warehouse. Prepares order transmittals and coordinates with vendors to address customer issues, including processing of warranty claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assesses and receives customer claims for warranty

2. Coordinates with vendor to address product issues and warranty replacement claims

3. Prepares, checks, processes and safe keeps all import documents, broker invoices and manifests to manage all container shipments in coordination with freight carriers and customers

4. Handles releasing of imported goods which includes nomination of brokers

5. Monitors and provides update regarding the release of imported goods from Bureau of Customs until the delivery to warehouse/project site

6. Coordinates with the Finance/Accounting Department for the timely payment of fees required for the release of imported goods

7. Works with Customs and Tariff Commission to ensure appropriate classification of products

8. Optimizes tariff classification of imported goods for accuracy while lowering tariff

9. Safe keeps importation documents for future reference

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering , Customs Administration or any related course

2. Must have an adept knowledge in customs releasing process and regulations, preferably has a wide network and good relationship with brokers

3. Must have the following skill sets: interpersonal, problem solving, customer service, critical thinking, and time management

4. Must have excellent communication (oral and written) skills

5. Must have a good moral character that exhibits high sense of confidentiality

6. Must be able to be keen into details

7. Must be able to exercise considerable independence and initiative in daily activities

8. Must be a team player and able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
