OB REQUIREMENT:

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive

  • People oriented and results driven

  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

  • Supports departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction

  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Creates and manages a performance review system to drive employee development and to support opportunities for growth

  • Drives high performance by nurturing positive working environment

  • Ensures a pipeline of talent is in-place for the function, and coordinates between the function and business units to staff roles and ensure sufficient succession planning May help lead a functional Talent Council staffing team at some level, including gathering and preparing information/materials in preparation for meetings, analyzing data from Career Systems, facilitating meetings, and taking ownership for the team effectiveness of the Talent Council. 

  • Handles workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.

  • Resolves conflicts through positive and professional mediation

  • Provides the resources and manpower development of the company

  • Responsible for the performance management, general admin spearheading and training

  • Responsible for building functional capability to ensure that the employees in the plant have the skills sufficient to meet business need at the time of need. Leverages existing materials when possible, and uses good instructional design and delivery practices when developing content and curricula as well as learning management system expertise to effectively distribute & track learning.

  • Works with Talent Acquisition and the plant on new hire pipeline health, lead intern programs, work together to ensure QQRD (quality, quantity, retention & diversity) of recruits, and proactively initiate interventions to ensure proper retention of new recruits within the function. Supports plant to ensure a healthy and proper mix of diversity in the function, per company guidelines, at all levels.
