We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, compliance monitoring, employee engagement, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in generalist HR responsibilities, with a strong grasp of Philippine labor laws and due process procedures. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services in a fast-paced or multi-location organization.


1. Onboarding and Pre-Employment Compliance

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires, including:
  1. Orientation scheduling and facilitation
  2. Collection and verification of pre-employment requirements
  3. Preparation and distribution of onboarding kits and materials
  • Monitor compliance with pre-employment documentation and policies.
  • Ensure timely coordination with relevant HR and department teams for smooth integration of new employees.


2. HR Reporting and Metrics

  • Maintain and regularly update HR dashboards and reports including:
  1. Onboarding status
  2. Pre-employment compliance tracking
  3. KPI submissions and performance tracking
  • Analyze data trends and suggest process improvements based on key HR metrics.


3. Employee Relations and Disciplinary Action

  • Administer disciplinary procedures in compliance with due process, including:
  1. Drafting and issuing Notices to Explain (NTE)
  2. Scheduling and facilitating administrative hearings
  3. Documenting outcomes and ensuring timely resolutions
  • Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies and procedures.


4. Employee Engagement and Communication

  • Organize and conduct employee engagement initiatives such as:
  1. "HR Talks" or forums for early-stage feedback and issue resolution
  2. Team-building activities and recognition programs
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and escalate critical matters as needed.


5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  1. Work closely with department heads to understand manpower needs and HR-related concerns.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  3. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee data and sensitive information.


Qualifications:


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced or multi-location work environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Philippine labor laws and due process procedures.


Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficient in end-to-end onboarding and pre-employment processes.
  • Skilled in maintaining HR records, reports, and compliance dashboards.
  • Experienced in handling disciplinary procedures (NTE issuance, hearings, documentation).


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential matters.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.


Additional Competencies:

  • Experience in employee engagement and internal HR communication initiatives.
  • Flexible and resilient in navigating changes within a dynamic work environment.


Work Environment & Reporting Line:

  • This role reports directly to the HR Manager or Head of HR.
  • May require occasional travel or remote coordination with multiple sites.
