Qualifications;

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Labor and Employee Relations which includes policy making
  • Employee Engagement
  • Compliances & Audits
  • C&B – understanding of statutory compliances at least is required
  • HRIS – exposure to data management, HR process improvements and innovations
  • Financials – good understanding of budget management


Key Responsibilities

1. Labor and Employee Relations

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies
  • Act as a key advisor to management on labor law and employee relations issues

2. Employee Engagement

  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, retention, and productivity
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to recommend action plans
  • Partner with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Support learning, development, and recognition programs

3. Compliance and Audits

  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
  • Lead internal and external HR audits and address audit findings
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Monitor changes in labor legislation and recommend policy updates accordingly

4. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with statutory benefits and government-mandated contributions
  • Support salary reviews, incentive programs, and benefits benchmarking
  • Address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits

5. HRIS and Data Management

  • Manage and optimize HRIS platforms to ensure accurate employee data
  • Use HR data and analytics to support decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and automation
  • Drive HR innovations to enhance efficiency and employee experience

6. Financials and Budget Management

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor the HR department budget
  • Track HR-related costs and ensure alignment with financial targets
  • Support workforce planning and cost optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting and reporting
