Position Title: HR Manager

Salary: 60k - 80k

Location: Mandaue Cebu City


Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to supporting a productive, safe, and compliant work environment while driving employee engagement and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Staffing
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles, including production, maintenance, and technical positions.
  • Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a positive labor/employee relations environment and address disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends.
  • Compliance & Policies
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, ADA).
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures tailored to a manufacturing environment.
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, labor audits).
  • Performance Management & Development
  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and support leadership in performance discussions.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
  • Support succession planning initiatives.
  • Payroll & Benefits
  • Coordinate payroll processing in collaboration with Finance or outsourced vendors.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and educate employees on offerings.
  • Health, Safety & Wellness
  • Partner with EHS to promote a safe workplace.
  • Support workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting
  • Maintain HRIS records and generate reports (e.g., turnover, headcount, absenteeism).
  • Analyze data to recommend improvements to processes and programs.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with unionized environments is a plus (if applicable).
