• Bachelor's degree in financial management, management accounting, finance, business management, accounting or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of relevant local and national regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
• A strong eye for detail and accuracy is crucial for maintaining financial records. 
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond to inquiries. 
• Ability to identify process improvements and assist in resolving accounting-related issues.
• Ability to work under pressure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES;

Financial Information and Reporting

• Compile and review financial information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
• Prepare financial forms, documents, and reports.

Transaction Processing and Record-Keeping

• Enter and record financial transactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records in accounting software.
• Process and manage accounts payable (invoices) and accounts receivable (payments).
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records and filing systems.

Monitoring and Administrative Tasks

·        Monitor expenses to ensure compliance with budgets and financial plans.

• Answer phones and handle routing correspondence with clients.
• Perform other duties as required.
