The Food Attendant is responsible for assisting in food service operations by preparing food items, arranging food displays, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining or buffet area. Duties include replenishing food trays, monitoring food quality, supporting kitchen staff, serving guests during buffet service, and following proper food handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in food preparation and portioning
• Arranging and replenishing buffet stations or food counters
• Ensuring food presentation, temperature, and freshness are maintained
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service hours
• Keeping service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assisting guests politely and addressing simple inquiries
• Following hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's/ College Degree in Food Beverage Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or TESDA Food and Beverage Services NC ll or any related courses
• Excellent in communication skills
• With strong customer service skills
• At least 3 to 6 months of working experience in a 3-to-5-star hotel
