Oversees and manages the engineering and maintenance operations related to the terminal's infrastructure and equipment. Guarantee the safe use of different terminal facilities to ensure continuous operations of the terminal and entails the planning, monitoring and management of the section. Ensure that Equipment Reliability is maintained at its highest level to support continuous and efficient terminal operations and drive the continuous improvement of the team. 

1. Maintenance Planning and Execution: Responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition. This involves preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and reactive maintenance to address sudden issues.
2. Equipment and Facility Management: They oversee the management of all equipment and facilities within the break bulk terminal. This includes ensuring that equipment such as cranes, conveyor systems, and storage facilities are operational and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
3. Budgeting and Cost Control: The Engineering Head is involved in budgeting for maintenance activities, managing expenditures, and ensuring that costs are controlled effectively. They might also be responsible for procurement related to maintenance and engineering needs.
4. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the terminal meets safety regulations and environmental standards is a critical part of their role. They oversee safety protocols and compliance with local and international regulations governing the operation of the terminal.
5. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: They provide technical expertise and support to operational staff in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to equipment or facilities. This helps in maintaining continuous operation and minimizing disruptions.
6. Project Management: They may be involved in overseeing or managing engineering projects within the terminal, such as upgrades, expansions, or modifications to existing facilities or equipment.
7. Team Management: They lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, ensuring effective coordination and performance to meet operational goals and maintain a safe working environment. Oversees and supervises the work performance of the FMS Supervisors and FMS Crew, MES and MMS to ensure smooth flow of work.

1. Educational Attainment: Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and other related field.
2. Eligibility: None required. 
3. Work Experience: Must have at least 6 years of related experience under the same capacity.
4. Training/ Certification: None required.
5. Skills: Must have basic technical skills, with people skills, computer literate, and basic level of communication skills for both English and Filipino (oral and written).
