The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both internal and external events that align with the organization's goals and values. This includes everything from developing the strategy and budget to ensuring a smooth experience on the day of the event. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external partners to make sure each event is well-organized and impactful.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, webinars, workshops, and internal team activities
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and venues to make sure all event needs are covered
  • Work with the digital and communications team to promote events and engage with audiences
  • Handle logistics from start to finish, including preparation, setup, and post-event follow-ups
  • Make sure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the expected quality
  • Gather feedback and performance data to help improve future events
  • Maintain open communication with everyone involved before, during, and after each event


Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in events management or a similar role
  • Proven ability to manage both virtual and in-person events
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask, manage tight timelines, and remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Has a regional work experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Can speak Waray (preferred, but not required)
  • Willing work in a hybrid setup (Ortigas office)
