The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers or designated locations. This role ensures timely deliveries, protects the integrity of the cargo, and provides excellent service while adhering to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., motorcycles, vans, trucks) to deliver products to assigned destinations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of items based on daily schedules and route plans.
• Verify delivery information, including addresses, contact details, and special instructions.
• Handle, load, and unload goods with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Obtain signatures, proof of delivery, and necessary documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections (e.g., brakes, tires, lights, fluids) to ensure roadworthiness.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, accidents, or route problems promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety rules, and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status.
• Manage cash-on-delivery (COD) payments when required and submit collections as instructed.
• Assist with warehouse or logistics-related tasks when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Can safely operate L300 vans, Canter trucks, and other light/medium delivery vehicles.
• Must hold a Professional Driver’s License (A1, B1).
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar logistics role.
• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and GPS navigation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling cargo.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
